The shredder is powered by dual hydraulic motors that directly drive the two parallel shafts to rotate in opposite directions at low speed. When materials enter the feeding hopper, the hydraulic pusher ram automatically extends to force the material into the cutting chamber at a controlled pressure. The interlocking blades on the shafts grip, shear, tear and cut the material into uniform pieces. When an overload or jam occurs, the hydraulic system automatically releases pressure through the relief valve and reverses the shafts to clear the blockage. The entire feeding and shredding process is fully synchronized and controlled by the PLC system for optimal efficiency.
