Alva Machinery Co., Ltd. recently announced a new chapter in its international partnership. A complete set of small 80mm plastic shredders ordered by a Nigerian customer has completed full production,
commissioning, and quality testing, and is ready for loading and shipment. This not only demonstrates the customer's high recognition of the quality of Alva's plastic processing equipment, but also marks a solid
step forward in Alva's expansion into the African plastics recycling and processing equipment market.
This collaboration began with an in-depth study of the Nigerian customer's plastics recycling and processing needs. The customer representative stated during preliminary discussions that, after comparing the
performance, compatibility, and after-sales service of equipment from over ten global brands, the Alva small 80mm plastic shredder's precise crushing, corrosion resistance, and durability perfectly matched the
local plastics recycling landscape. The equipment can efficiently process both common plastics like polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) and waste plastic parts containing minor impurities. Furthermore,
it meets the core needs of local small and medium-sized plastics processing companies for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and green production, providing key equipment support for the development
of a local plastics circular economy. As Alva's flagship device specifically developed for small and medium-sized plastic processing applications, the small 80 plastic shredder features core configurations and
performance optimized for the characteristics of plastics, offering significant advantages:
Crushing Blade Set: Crafted from Cr12MoV mold steel, the cross-shaped blade set boasts a hardness of HRC60-62, offering both high wear and impact resistance. This design effectively prevents blade tangling,
allowing it to continuously crush 50 tons of waste plastic while maintaining a sharp edge. Its blade life is 2.5 times longer than that of ordinary carbon steel blade sets.
Motor and Temperature Control System: Equipped with an 18kW YE3 Class 1 energy-efficient pure copper motor, the unit delivers stable power output. Combined with the built-in "overload protection +
temperature monitoring" dual system, it can handle voltage fluctuations in parts of Africa while preventing material melting and clumping due to frictional heat during the shredding process, ensuring uniform
crushing (adjustable from 2-10mm).
Overall Structure: The machine body is constructed of 304 The crushing chamber is constructed of stainless steel, resistant to plastic corrosives and high temperatures, easy to clean, and unlikely to leave residue.
The equipment is compact (3.0m long, 1.6m wide, and 2.3m high), requiring no large plant space for installation. Equipped with negative pressure dust removal and a noise-reducing housing, it achieves dust
emission concentrations of ≤5mg/m³ and noise levels of ≤75dB, fully complying with international environmental and occupational health standards.
To ensure a smooth operation from delivery to commissioning, Alva Machinery has established a dedicated service team to provide customized support. Initially, they thoroughly understand the customer's
plastic recycling material type and production capacity requirements, adjusting the blade gap and crushing speed parameters accordingly. During the production phase, they provide weekly progress updates to
the customer, and invite the customer to remotely inspect key component assembly. Prior to shipment, the equipment undergoes 72 hours of continuous no-load and load testing. The equipment comes with a
multilingual (English and French) operating manual and a gift pack of consumable parts (spare blades and bearings). Technical personnel will also provide video guidance on equipment installation and
commissioning. A one-year free warranty and lifetime technical consulting services are also provided, fully addressing customer concerns. The International Business Manager of Alva Machinery stated, "This
choice by Nigerian customers is another affirmation of Alva's commitment to 'deepening our focus on niche markets and serving global customers.' In recent years, we have focused on the development needs of
Africa's plastics recycling industry, continuously optimizing the adaptability and durability of our plastic shredding equipment. We have provided equipment and solutions to plastics processing companies in 15
African countries. Going forward, Alva will continue to prioritize technological innovation, developing products tailored to the specific plastic resource characteristics of different regions, contributing to the
advancement of the global plastics circular economy and allowing high-quality Chinese manufacturing to serve more international customers."
Currently, this small 80-meter plastic shredder has completed rust-proof packaging and final inspection before loading onto containers. It will be shipped by sea to the Port of Lagos, Nigeria. Alva Machinery will
monitor the logistics progress throughout the entire process, assisting the customer with customs clearance procedures, ensuring the equipment is put into production as soon as possible and generating stable
profits for the customer.
